Lisa is a visual artist born in Sydney, now residing in the Northern Rivers Region of NSW.
Graduating from the Byron School of Art in 2016, Lisa has exhibited regularly in solo and group shows in regional NSW.
Lisa has Afantasia and an impaired autobiographical memory; cannot visualise in her minds eye; or vividly recollect or re-experience past events from a first person perspective.
She makes abstract paintings in encaustic and cold wax and sculptures in clay.
With no instructions for reassembling her past, she creates work to remember. Trying to find a place to rest amongst the uncertainty of what is unremembered.
