These works were sparked by a fable called nails in the fence about an angry child. I considered the times my anger has stained another and the times my fire has been snuffed out. This led me to question why in our society it is more acceptable for a man to lose their temper than a woman. It seems to me a little unfair that I should be allowed no fire in this life because of my gender. I decided one must choose the fire they feed, the one that tempers, or the one that destroys.
